Movie Review – Widows (2018)

TL;DR – This is a film that has one of the most ridiculous casts I have seen in a long time, but it just does not come together in end.

Score – 3.5 out of 5 stars

Review

It is rare that a film comes along with a cast just as ludicrous as this, with a premise as strong as this, indeed you should see it just to watch Viola Davis own every scene she is in. TV Review – The Orville: Season One

TL;DR – While at first look this might have been just a Star Trek homage or at worst a blatant rip-off. Instead, it finds its feet and becomes a charming exploration of the future and the mess and opportunities that could come.

Score – 4 out of 5 stars

But binged the first season I have, and now it is time to jump in and see if it was worth the wait. Now before we dive in, a quick reminder that as we will be looking at the season as a whole, there will be some [SPOILERS] ahead.

Movie Review – Taken 3

TL;DR – What a waste of a movie and a promising franchise

Score 1 out of 5 stars

Review

Oh Taken 3 how far have we fallen that we reached here? Before I get into my review of Taken 3 it is important to look at where we have come from. Taken 1 is great, fantastically great, the casting of Liam Neeson was a master stroke, the setting was visceral and it had a real emotional push behind it. It was so good it made you forget just what a stupid set up the premise was if you know anything about human trafficking.
